One Step Closer... but I feel the weight of everything bearing down on me

The open house was a success. I had an offer Monday following the open house. It was made by a young couple buying their first house. They really love my house, as do I. This makes me feel so good... much better than selling to a private equity firm which would profit off all my hard work.

Now comes the hard work of combining two houses full of things into one small house. A small house that was already too full of things from combining the office, two storage units, and all the existing stuff that my late husband collected over 20+ years.

And of course, wouldn't you know it, we all came down with Covid-19. My first time. So, having to get things done while unable to go to the store adds another layer of difficulty. Ordering groceries to be delivered is one thing but having to get things from Home Depot or Target or Walmart, that is just a new layer of hell that I need to contend with.

As tough as these setbacks may be, I know that I am one step closer to getting my life in order.
